Decline to quote

REQUEST wss://connection.bitvavo.com:8004/rfq/v1 declineQuote

Tells Bitvavo that you are not going to quote the current cycle of an RFQ session. Sending declineQuote is optional and advisory. It does not enter the competition, shorten the collection window, or stop you from sending a firmQuote later in the same window.

The server does not acknowledge a decline. It records the decline for the current cycle while the collection window is open. If the rfqId is unknown or the cycle has closed, the server ignores the decline. If the action is malformed, the server returns an error.

Request

Body
    actionstringrequired

Set to declineQuote to decline to quote the current cycle.

    Possible values: [declineQuote]

    Example: declineQuote
    requestIdinteger<int64>

An identifier that you assign to the request. The server echoes it back in the matching response so you can correlate the two.

    Example: 9021001
    rfqIdinteger<int64>required

The unique identifier of the RFQ session.

    Example: 840001234567
    rfqCycleIdinteger<int32>required

The identifier of the current cycle within the RFQ session. A cycle is one round of quote collection. It begins when the taker starts or refreshes the RFQ session, and ends when the collection window closes.

The value starts at 0 for the first cycle, and increases by 1 each time the taker refreshes the RFQ.

    Example: 2
    declineReasonstring

Optional. The reason you decline to quote. If you omit this field, pass is recorded. Use pass when no other value fits. Possible values:

    • pass — you chose not to price this RFQ.
    • noInventory — you do not have enough inventory to quote this side or size.
    • exceedsLimit — the RFQ is beyond your risk or treasury threshold for this market.
    • noMarketForInstrument — you do not make prices in this market.
    • tooLateToEnter — the RFQ reached you too late to quote within the collection window.
    • maintenance — you are shutting down or in planned maintenance.

Possible values: [pass, noInventory, exceedsLimit, noMarketForInstrument, tooLateToEnter, maintenance]

    Example: pass
    operatorIdinteger<int64>
